Prior to turning 7 years old, Maddison once again asked for a published book as a gift.  "Maddie's World: I Like Me" explores the thoughts of 6 year old Maddie as she recognizes how different she is in school, in sports, and in other settings as a child living with hearing loss.  Instead of letting her disability deter her success, she leans in and instead educates others and embraces being special.  This book is not solely about Maddie, instead it is a resource for all unique children and those that love and support them.
