This books has been afew years in the making.  9 year old, 3rd grade Maddie Davis describes how hard it was to navigate the pandemic as a child with hearing loss.  The word she uses  for 2020/ 2021 is "Trifficult!" This is her vernacular for difficult times 3!  While writing this book our family decided to focus our efforts on developing Maddie emotionally and put the book on pause.  Now as an 11 year old Maddie is ready to publish and add how she uses lessons learned from the pandemic in her everyday tween life.  This journal is a social emotional guide full of prompts to identify and work through emotions with a trusted adult.
